Greetings Village!
Do you make New Year’s resolutions for yourself each year?
I don’t. I prefer to set an intention. The past couple of years I have chosen . . .
Adventure
Experiment
Gratitude for the Unexpected
This year I am struggling with choosing an intention. I’ve wondered about picking a theme for the year, or finding a mantra, or even choosing a specific goal for myself.
This morning, Tuesday December 27th, I realized I needed to get the January newsletter written. But what was I going to write about? I knew I wanted to write about New Year’s resolutions, but being lost myself, what do I say about my intention for this year?
Then it came to me.
Lately I can feel something brewing, yet I don’t know where it is leading.
So my intention as I start 2023 is to . . .
sit and wait,
listen,
And stay open to see where I am being led.
Our goals don’t always have to be concrete and something we can quantify. Sometimes they just need to be intentional. I hope this inspires you as you embark on 2023. Happy New Year!
Warmly,
Lesley
